I'm originally from Oakland, California (or, even deeper cut, the same town whose high school Clint Eastwood got kicked out of (and honestly, I can't blame him)). I'm now in Austin, Texas.

I grew up problem solving in my family's hardware store, which translated to problem solving the user experience. I also learned why there's tons of sushi knife shapes, have way too much knowledge about lightbulbs, and felt really, really bad for Ariana Grande when she got that tattoo.

My background is in illustration, and I love a good story. I find putting the pieces together between users and clients pretty similar to putting the pieces together for a story- with unforseen twists and turns. Then I get to take what I know and create the happy ending.
